Hand made Epoxy Vinyl surfboard, with timber stringer and PVC rigid foam pads under foot. Swallow Tail.
These hand made boards are not like your ordinary epoxy "pop out" kite boards from other major brands. For a start, being hand made allows our shapers to achieve finer rails around the tail then the "pop outs". Also having timber stringers gives them much more strength and durability but still allows some flexibility and maneuverability while surfing the wave.
The extruded polystyrene (EPS) blank is lighter and more buoyant then PU blanks used in fibre glass boards. The PVC rigid foam reinforcements under the feet prevent heel compressions from continued heavy use. The boards are fitted with a long set of twin nylon inserts for easy reliable foot strap plugs that can be set parallel or on the angle, with a wide or a narrow stance. Finally the high gloss hand finished decks come in a range of eye catching colours and pattens.
While being a sturdier composition then normal boards, our "outheback kite boards" are still light enough to be able to be surfed with the straps removed or can even be used as tow in boards.
